Terms & Conditions
All participants of any event organised by Asian Pride, including ticket holders, special guests and invitees, Asian Pride staff and volunteers, must abide by the Terms and Conditions set out in the form below.
By registering, attending any event organised by Asian Pride, whether or not you purchased a ticket or received an invitation to attend, you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions:

Provisional Ticket Purchase:
Purchasing a ticket does not guarantee participation. All ticket purchases are provisional and subject to our review and approval.

Right to Refund:
We reserve the right to refund any ticket purchase at our discretion. This may include, but is not limited to, cases where we need to prioritize members of the Asian LGBTQ+ community or any other reason deemed necessary by the organisers.

Community Priority:
Priority will be given to members of the Asian LGBTQ+ community.

Code of Conduct:
All participants must adhere to our House Rules to maintain a respectful and inclusive environment. This includes respecting the identities, pronouns, and expressions of all participants, avoiding any form of discrimination, harassment, or inappropriate behaviour, and complying with instructions from the organisers and safety personnel.

Zero Tolerance for Misconduct:
Any participant found to be engaging in disrespectful, disruptive, or inappropriate behavior will be removed from the event and will not be entitled to a refund. This is to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all attendees.

Acceptance of Terms:
By purchasing a ticket, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions. Failure to comply with these terms may result in denied entry or removal from the event without a refund.

Age Policy for Asian Pride Canal Parade Events:
For safety reasons and due to the nature of the Canal Parade environment, children younger than 4 years old are not permitted on board the Asian Pride Boat under any circumstances. In addition, we strongly advise against bringing children younger than 18 years old. The atmosphere, noise levels, and density of participants may not be appropriate for younger attendees.

The parade is a crowded, high-energy celebration with loud music, dancing, and open water surroundings. The boat is designed as a party environment and does not provide safety features suitable for young children, such as child railings, quiet spaces, seating or supervision infrastructure.

By purchasing a ticket and boarding the Asian Pride Boat, participants confirm that they comply with this age policy. Tickets purchased for children under the permitted age may be cancelled for safety reasons, and boarding may be refused if the policy is not followed.

These terms and conditions are designed to ensure a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for all participants of Asian Pride events as well as to ensure the safety of all participants and to maintain a responsible and enjoyable Pride celebration for everyone. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
